Kristin Cabeda, MPAS, PA-C
Owner and Board-Certified Master Injector
Empowering women to feel radiant in their skin since 2012, Kristin Cabeda redefines beauty at every age with innovative, non-invasive treatments for gorgeous, natural results. Owner and Master Injector at her Uptown Charlotte aesthetic boutique Plumped, Kristin has had a lifelong desire to help others, formerly working in cardiology for 10+ years. Quickly after entering the aesthetic industry, she became known for her artistry and flawless techniques, leading her to become a National Trainer for PDO Threading, a skin-tightening treatment she first introduced to the Charlotte area in 2016. Kristin’s reputation for advanced injections has garnered praise from high-profile clients and celebrities, who seek out her aesthetic craftsmanship & unparalleled passion for the stunning results they desire. In 2020, Kristin was nominated for the title of 100 Best Aesthetic Injectors in the country. Ultimately, it is Kristin’s mission to help clients reclaim their confidence without invasive surgeries.
Originally from Manorville, New York, Kristin savors time away from work, traveling with her husband and young son. Committed to excellence, Kristin also pursues continuing education any chance she gets.
Asha Barua, APRN, FNP-C
Aesthetic Injector
Super skilled aesthetic injector? Cardiac nurse? Confection artist? Give Asha Barua the right tools and it’s clear she can do anything with precision, expertise, and care. Following more than 16 years in nursing—with opportunities as a traveling nurse and in the ICU step-down unit—Asha continues to pursue excellence and growth with a gratitude-first attitude. Excitedly joining the Plumped team, she now has the chance to marry her medical skills with her artistic talents. At the heart of all her work, Asha’s focus remains on the patient at the center of her care. Through her unique creative and technical skill sets, Asha helps clients look and feel their best.
Passionate about all things fitness, female empowerment, and travel, Asha spends her time off being active outdoors or on adventures with her husband and daughter. She continues to flex her impressive sugar skills, creating edible works of art almost too cute to eat. Not one to slow down, Asha is currently a graduate student seeking her degree to become a family nurse practitioner—just one more incredible title to her long list of accomplishments.
Lori Cappello, APRN, FNP-C
Aesthetic Injector
A Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s in Nursing from Spalding University, Lori Cappello first discovered her love for neuromodulators-injections that allow the relaxation of muscles, such as Botox-when she began using them to treat patients with chronic migraines during her time in neurosurgery. Following this fascinating discovery, Lori utilized her diverse medical background, which first started as an ICU nurse at the University of Louisville Hospital, to find unique ways to help others heal, thrive, and feel better than ever before. Above all, Lori values the relationship-building opportunities in her line of work that yield truly remarkable outcomes for her patients. By taking the time to understand an individual’s treatment goals – and embracing a multimodal approach including injectables, noninvasive aesthetic procedures, and medical-grade skincare -Lori’s patients receive optimal results every time.
Outside of work, Lori enjoys spending time with her husband and their new son. Together, they love walking their two rescue dogs, exploring the outdoors -especially days on the lake – and traveling both domestically and internationally to immerse themselves in different cultures, cuisines, and experiences.

After 18 years in the beauty industry, Maliyah Kantsios has built a thriving reputation for professionalism, known best for helping her clients achieve a flawless appearance. With expertise in several aspects of the industry, ranging from image consulting to hairstyling and most recently, luxury and bridal makeup, Maliyah has worked with top cosmetic brands, public figures across the country, and an elite group of Charlotte-area clientele. As a licensed cosmetologist and aesthetician, her passions remain grounded in skincare, committed to empowering others to look and feel their best at every age. At Plumped, Maliyah uses her vast knowledge of the latest medical cosmetic technologies and treatments to ensure all clients are not only meeting but exceeding their skincare goals.

Master Aesthetician
Combining her expertise as a luxury beauty expert with her mastery of healing distressed skin, Anna Quan has been perfecting her craft for luxury skincare services since 2016. After receiving her license in Cosmetology Science, she expanded her knowledge into the skincare world, going on to earn her Skincare Specialist Certification with a major global luxury brand in 2018. Anna’s reputation for helping her clients achieve their individual skin goals has preceded her. Anna has worked with public figures and an elite group of clients around the globe. As a licensed cosmetologist and aesthetician, Anna is particularly fascinated with — and committed to — treating and correcting major skin issues such as acne-prone skin & uneven pigmentation caused by hormonal changes and environmental interruptions. Using her extensive experience and training, Anna works to customize effective skincare treatments, while still providing a luxurious experience for her clients every time.

Christina Feleppa
MASTER AESTHETICIAN
Dedicated to learning all things skin-related, Christina received her Aesthetics license in 2007. Her comprehensive knowledge regarding pigmentation, acne, and damaged and aging skin in addition to laser therapy has made her an invaluable advocate for patients at Plumped. Her education-first approach empowers patients to take control of their skin issues with digestible knowledge and tools to help them to reach their individual skincare goals—and in turn, a boost to their self-love and confidence.
In her downtime, Christina loves spending time with her husband and family. She enjoys yoga, getting outdoors, and running. She is always up for trying new experiences!
Melissa McCartney
Master Aesthetician/Patient Care Specialist
Serving as the invaluable liaison that keeps everyone up to date and all treatments running like clockwork, Patient Care Specialist Melissa McCartney has her job cut out for her during the non-stop days at Plumped. Thankfully, she’s as talented at multitasking as she is knowledgeable about the endless services and treatments available at Plumped.
Following more than 14 years as a Licensed Aesthetician—and with an intimate understanding of specialized treatments, devices, and products—Melissa leans on her compassion for others and industry experience to identify and coordinate services tailored to the needs of every patient. Her people and communication skills are abundantly apparent in every relationship she builds and nurtures at Plumped.
Ever the enthusiast for holistic wellness, Melissa is trained as a hot yoga instructor and Reiki Level 1 certified. Her professional passion for healthy living flows seamlessly into her personal life, training for races, hiking, and practicing yoga. When she’s not breaking a sweat, you can find her spending quality time with her husband, two young boys, and pup… or making a mean charcuterie board, of course!
Natalie Bhagrattee
AESTHETIC MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Always ready to lend a helping hand, Natalie thrives as an Aesthetic Medical Assistant. A true testament to Natalie’s work ethic, she is now nearing the completion of her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science, perpetually excited to advance her personal and professional development. Her genuine desire to make a difference drives her to go above and beyond, offering support and assistance wherever it is needed.
During her rare moments of leisure, Natalie finds solace in nature, often taking her dog on invigorating hikes, improving her physical and mental health at the gym, or embracing the joy of live music as an enthusiastic concert-goer.

Her professionalism isn’t confined to her aesthetics clientele however; as the proud owner of a hand-crafted candle business, Alyce channels her creativity and deep appreciation for well-being into creating exquisite candles that not only look beautiful but also contribute to a more harmonious and healthy living environment.
When she isn’t hard at work, Alyce loves soaking up the moments- and the sun-getting outside to explore or play with her daughter and fiance. Above all, she remains dedicated to radiating positive energy and uplifting individuals seeking the finest in health, wellness, and overall well-being.
Nicoletta Michos

Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Nicoletta Michos made the 600+ mile move to The Queen City to embark on her new chapter in January 2021 and brought with her an insatiable love for aesthetics! Sparked from the most unlikely of places, Nicoletta’s interest in medical aesthetics took form after watching her now-favorite show, “Botched,” on E! many years ago. Captivated by the transformative power of aesthetics- and recognizing its unique ability to instill confidence and create a positive impact on people’s lives -Nicoletta found her own calling to help individuals achieve their aesthetic goals.
Through her position as a Patient Care Specialist, she hopes to turn this opportunity into a
rewarding and long-lasting career in aesthetics In her downtime, she can be found cuddling her beloved long-haired chihuahua, Titan, hitting the gym, or creating memories with family and friends. Coming from a close-knit Greek family, Nicoletta cherishes the traditions and flavors of her heritage- especially the opportunities to slow down in the kitchen alongside her mother and Yiayia, cooking up Greek classics and sweet treats.
Jessamine Mackenzie
OPERATIONAL ASSISTANT
Stepping seamlessly into the role of Operational Assistant, Jessamine Mackenzie is a seasoned beauty industry professional, with a journey that began in the early 2000s. Bringing a ceaseless passion for customer service to Plumped, Jessamine goes the extra mile to ensure clients feel heard and appreciated. With a magnetic enthusiasm for skincare, fillers, and neurotoxins, she is constantly searching for educational opportunities to advance her knowledge and expertise in her field. And while she works hard at running a tight ship around Plumped, don’t expect it to be all work and no play; Jessamine radiates positivity-noting that her love language is humor with a firm belief in finding a reason to laugh and smile each day. With her rich experience and dedication to customer care, Jessamine is an invaluable asset to our team.
Beyond her professional life, Jessamine enjoys spending time with her fiance and 2-year-old son creating new memories and having fun. Her personal interests encompass painting, spending quality time with friends, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through fitness.
